Artist
Susana Cirille, draws and paints since she was a child. Inspired of English and French furniture she decided to do with Wood what she had seen done with paint. Not finding a teacher who could teach her the technique, she became a self-taught artisan.
She has exhibited her Works at home and also in New York, Spain , Miami, Holand and Punta del Este.
She considers that Wood must be carefully combined to achieve perspective effects, volume, light and shadow. The excellence of a painting done in marquetry, is measured when it is mistaken for a painting. Few people have done this so masterfully.
Susana Cirille shows us the way.
